Live coding workshop next week

I’m going to be leading a live coding session at next week’s Meteor Toronto event.

(To find out more about Meteor events and everything else going on in the local community check out the Meteor Toronto community site.)

I’ll be doing a short intro version of our Meteor workshop. It will be a basic session where you’ll create a simple Meteor app, and then you’ll have the opportunity to hack on it and get more advanced after if you like.

Event details

Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Time: 7:00 PM

Location: Bento Miso, 862 Richmond Street West, Suite 300, Toronto

Prerequisites

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. A computer, or a person beside you with a computer to share.
  2. Basic JavaScript editing ability. If you’ve ever copied some code from Stack Overflow and made it work then you’re probably good here!
  3. Meteor installed on your computer, here’s a quick and easy guide

That’s it! See you on Wednesday!
